How Can You Reuse Water?
Estimates say that the average person uses 80-100 gallons of water per day.
If you are in a drought-prone or water stressed region, decreasing your water use can go a long way.
Even if you are in a water-rich region, reusing water can reduce your impact, and save on your water bill!
Ways to reuse water around the home:
- Use your drained pasta water or vegetable wash water to water your plants.
- Put a bucket in your shower, and collect the water used while the water warms up. Combine that with your pasta/vegetable water.
- Start a rainwater collection system for all of your lawn needs.
